Possible Impact Of Baleno:
Baleno is a good package from Maruti one again with great VFM factor injected into it. It scores high in terms of Safety, pricing and design. The base variant prices of Baleno are just about 30,000 more compared to Swift which may result in cannibalization between Baleno and Swift. Baleno has Airbags and ABS too at that marginal price increase. Elite i20 may not have a huge impact as it gives exactly what a premium hatchback customer wants i.e Styling and premium quality.
Should I Buy One ?
It depends. Yes! Maruti Baleno is neither premium nor it looks as good as Elite i20 . But if you are looking to buy a big hatchback at a cramped budget, then we would recommend you to go for Baleno. Yes Maruti’s hassle free service network and mileage comes as a bonus advantage.
