Kwid received 35,000 bookings till October 12th
Renault Kwid, the game changer for Renault in India, has received 35,000 bookings till today. Our internal sources have confirmed the same.
The bookings for Kwid have started on August 24th at a nominal cost of Rs 25,000. The statement from Renault on October 6th says that it has received 25,000 bookings till that date. This indicates
that Kwid has managed to receive 10,000 bookings in below a week’s time (October 6-October 12).
SUVish styling, competitive pricing, segment leading FE (25.17 kmpl), boot space combined with segment first feature – 7” touch screen infotainment system have turned the customers towards Kwid. The surprising part is that 35% of bookings have come from Tier II & Tier III cities.
One can book the Kwid from the Kwid App released by Renault. These tactics from Renault have succeeded in attracting young customers as 40% of bookings are from those below 28 years old.
Enthused by the response for Kwid, Renault is planning to open dealerships in Tier IV cities, where it doesn’t have penetration.
