Mahindra Quanto facelift was spotted testing in Nashik, where Mahindra has its plant. The spy images show an all new front end, complete with redesigned headlamps, grille and bumper.
The rear looks quite similar to the existing model except for the LED tail lamps. Mahindra will look to overcome the negative feedback of Quanto by tweaking interiors to improve the build quality.
According to some reports, Quanto will borrow the 1.5- Litre mHawk80 engine from the recently launched TUV300 which is available in 5MT and AMT options. Mahindra has expressed its interest of launching Quanto with AMT in the past by showcasing Quanto Autoshift concept at Auto Expo 2014.
Quanto facelift is expected to be launched by the end of this financial year, possibly at the Auto Expo. There are also speculations that Mahindra may re-brand the car to Canto.
