Fast & Furious series returns next year with Fast 8. Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto in the franchise, shared the poster for the eighth movie on his official Instagram account. Posted on his Instagram account, the image shows the franchise’s logo over the New York skyline flanked by the Empire State Building on the right side.
A bigger challenge will be following on the massive success of furious 7, which tragically had to say goodbye to Paul Walker and pushed the franchise to new box office heights. With that being said, one must note the poster doesn’t specify the film’s release date; instead it says the film will arrive in ‘April 2017’. Now, this piece of information may be a tad confusing since last year it was announced the eighth installment of the series will be released on April 14, 2017.Diesel has said on more than one occasion that Fast 8 will form the first installment of a trilogy intended to bring the series to a conclusion after 10 films. Neil Moritz is producing with Diesel.
