RS Kalki, Executive Director at Maruti Suzuki India confirmed to Indianautosblog that the Vitara Brezza has gathered about 5600+ bookings within 48 hours of its launch. It was previously announced by Maruti Suzuki through tweet that the Brezza has received 2,600 bookings in 24 hours. Some dealers have been accepting bookings for the Brezza from a month or so. The deliveries of the Brezza will start from the end of March.
Vitara Brezza, which was launched at a price range of Rs. 6.99 lakhs to Rs. 9.68 lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi) is only available in Diesel with Manual Transmission. However, Maruti might launch a petrol version later in its lifecycle.The tried and tested 1.3-litre DDiS engine in the Vitara Brezza produces 90 PS and 20.3 Kgm of torque. The best part is the segment leading fuel economy of 24.3km/l.
Vitara Brezza is equipped with Driver Airbag as standard, while the Passenger airbag, ABS+EBD, Front seat belt pre-tensioner and force limiter are available as optional. It also offers segment first features like Cruise control, rain sensing wipers in the ZDI+ variant. Some of the new features in Brezza include dual tone exterior colour, instrument cluster with mood lighting, Dual Glove box etc.
