Datsun India has launched its most affordable offering – the Redi-GO in the country with prices starting at 2.38 lakh, going up to 3.34 lakh (all ex-showroom, Delhi) for the range-topping variant. The Redi GO is available in a total of five variants – D, A, T, T(O), and S; and the automaker has managed to undercut the competition in terms of pricing inclusive of the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800, Renault Kwid,Hyundai EON and the likes in the entry-level car segment.

After two rather unsuccessful previous attempts at luring Indian markets with the GO and GO+, Datsun is aspiring to get third time lucky this time. Bookings for the car had already commenced last month and deliveries are expected to flag off immediately with the car now launched. The Datsun redi-GO will be competing against Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 and the Hyundai Eon apart from the Renault Kwid, in the Indian market.
